Safety & Security
The safety and security of students and staffs at Techawit School are taken very seriously. Security guards are physically on duty 24/7, and CCTV cameras monitor activities within and without the school compound at all times. All students, teachers, parents, and guests are required to use a card scan to enter the school premises. Furthermore, we have fire alarms and smoke detector system for monitoring the safety of our students and staffs.

Closed Campus
TECHAWIT SCHOOL is a closed campus. Once students arrive on campus in the morning, they may not leave the campus without special permission.
Parents must take students to school before 8.30 am and pick up students before 5.00 pm due to teacher’s working hours.
Students must scan School ID card everytime they arrive and leave school.
The School front gate is linked to Parents access card. The card can access school 7.00-10.00 am in the morning and 2.00-6.00 pm in the afternoon ONLY on weekdays.
Security
Absolutely no unauthorized personnel will be granted access under any circumstances, and all visitors entering the grounds must present their identification cards and receive a Visitor’s Pass from the Front Gate Security Station. All security personnel will not exercise any flexibility with regard to the safety of our students and staff.
Parents need to always inform homeroom teachers or school in advance incase parents do not come to pick up students by themselves.
The School may contact parents incase those who come to pick up student are not whom parents have been informed.
Helpers/Drivers
To encourage independence in our students, helpers/drivers are requested not to wait on the school premises during school hours unless they are asked by the class teacher to participate in that day’s activities.
Insurance
The school has accidental insurance coverage for students. The school also obtains insurance coverage for all school trips involving students.
Photographs and Videos
From time to time photographs or video clips of our students may be published to our website or used in publications such as the schools’ newspaper, magazine, website and other publications. If you would not like your child’s image or video to be used, please inform the school management before the start of the school year.
Taking videos/photos are not allowed inside school area due to safety and privacy of students.
No Smoking
The entire school campus is a designated smoke-free zone.
